Biography
Koji Matsuoka is professor of material science, graduate school of science and engineering, Saitama University, Saitama, Japan. He received his PhD in Biological Sciences, Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan and immediately joined Synthetic organic chemistry laboratory in RIKEN, Saitama, Japan as a postdoctral fellow. He moved to Department of Functional Materials Science, Saitama University as an assistant professor, where he obteined academic appointments, such as associate professor and ful professor. Dr. Matsuoka’s research focuses on multivalency of natural and synthetic substances. He published over 100 peer-reviewed papers and review articles.
